This monster 7.5k foot (2.2km) heap of granite is the largest such cliff face in the world (we also saw the second largest near Whistler in Vancouver). There are climbers in this picture, but I can't for the life of me remember where they were now. We're given binoculars to find the tiny, dot sized humans, who will be spending almost 3 days scaling the cliff.
We have lunch in a historic hotel in the park, and snap a few more shots of waterfalls from the valley floor.
As for getting out of the park, the guide has a plan - we'll drive to a meeting point and change cars with his boss. We're down to 33% and have an uphill climb ahead of us to get put of the valley, and the another 60 miles to get home.
Daniel points out some great places to eat at and visit on the way back into town, and we part ways, exhausted after such a huge day. We hit the hotel pool to relax in, which was delightful.
