Underground gardens and Rock

For our last day in Fresno, we check out the famous underground gardens about 20mins down the road.
This place is about 10 acres, all excavated by hand, by a single person over decades. Trees like the one shown are planted underground to allow their fruiting branches to reach for the surface.

We're guided through tunnel after tunnel, room after room. The owner had visions for this place to be a hotel of sorts, and had created his home down here too. After his death, his brother helped finish the ballroom in his honour.
We grab a bite to eat and chill out for a while in the hotel as the temperatures soar to 35c.

News to both of us is a country rock concert happening that night. We buy tickets after a little research and make our way there. HARDY and Koe Wetzel are the main performers, and Hardy can really rock!
If you want a taste of his pure country-ness, have a listen to 'Rednecker' for a good laugh.
