We spot an Argentinian restaurant across the street from our accommodation and head right in. Its unexpectedly a fine dining establishment, and we're dressed like bums. Food was amazing.
The room is hot and lacks any air-conditioning. I jerry-rig something by putting massive 710ml chilled beer cans in front of a fan so it blows something like cold air. We're here for 3 nights, so that means at least eleventyfour beers required.
Today, we've made it to the Frida Kahlo museum, and are surprised to find its an advanced-ticketed location, for which we have none, and they are sold out for today!
We pop into a local pub for a cold drink and planning the rest of the day. We're off to a market, a fountain, and a forest, all within walking distance ( and they're free!). We buy Frida tickets for tomorrow to ensure we can visit.
We're on the lookout for cool souvenirs here, and have already dented the wallet on them.
